HoneyBook alternatives · October 2026

HoneyBook alternatives, compared fairly.

HoneyBook is a capable client-management platform. But it is available in four countries, it has no free plan, and it is built around proposals and automations rather than pricing physical work. Here are seven alternatives with their own published prices — and where Sarvyam fits.

Why people switch

Why look for a HoneyBook alternative?

Where you are. HoneyBook says it is available for business owners in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. It launched in the UK and Australia in 2026 with subscriptions priced in pounds and Australian dollars. If your business is anywhere else — India, the Gulf, Europe, Africa — you need a different tool.

Price. HoneyBook lists Starter at $29/month, Essentials at $49/month and Premium at $109/month, billed yearly, with a free trial but no free plan. The scheduler and automations start on Essentials; unlimited team members are on Premium.

How you get paid. Client payments run through HoneyBook’s own payment processing. Its pricing page lists card fees starting at 2.7% + 10¢ (the plan table says from 2.9% + 25¢) and 1.5% for ACH bank transfers. Some businesses prefer to use their own Stripe, Razorpay or UPI.

What you sell. HoneyBook is strong for service businesses that sell time and packages. If your quote depends on how many balloons, stems, linens or rentals a job needs, you want pricing built from those costs.

What Sarvyam does not do (yet)

  • No built-in scheduler for clients to book calls or consultations
  • No two-way email inbox and no Google Calendar sync
  • No custom questionnaires or form builder — inquiries come in through your page’s inquiry form
  • No general workflow-automation builder — just built-in reminders (payment due or overdue, quote expiring, task due, a daily digest)
  • Terms are accepted with the quote; there are no separate contract documents
  • No time tracking and no email marketing
  • An installable web app with push notifications, not an App Store or Google Play app
Inside Sarvyam

A quote that knows what the job costs.

Add packages and quantities and the quote prices itself from your costs. You see the profit before you send; your client sees a clean page on their phone, ticks add-ons, signs and pays the deposit.

  • Optional add-ons the client chooses
  • Versions with “what changed”
  • Deposit and balance schedule on approval

Your situation

The right alternative depends on you.

HoneyBook alternative for photographers

  • Studio Ninja, Sprout Studio and VSCO Workspace (formerly Táve) are built around photographers; Bloom pairs bookings with galleries and portfolio websites.
  • If clients book you through consultation calls, pick a tool with a built-in scheduler — Sarvyam does not have one.
  • Sarvyam’s Studio plan ($79₹3,999/month) adds proofing galleries with favorites and a full website with a shop. See Sarvyam for photographers and our guide to proofing galleries.

HoneyBook alternative in the UK

  • HoneyBook now lists the UK as supported, with subscriptions in pounds — check its UK pricing directly.
  • Studio Ninja lists prices in GBP. Dubsado, Plutio, Bloom and Sprout Studio list their prices in dollars rather than pounds.
  • Sarvyam is priced in US dollars and works in pounds, with VAT included or added on quotes and invoices.

Free HoneyBook alternatives

  • Sarvyam Free: the costing engine, industry starter packs and 10 sent quotes a month, for as long as you like.
  • 17hats Free CRM: unlimited contacts and projects, four invoices a quarter.
  • Everything else on this page offers a free trial, not a free plan.

Cheaper HoneyBook alternatives

  • Entry prices as listed: Studio Ninja $16/month (5 active jobs), Plutio $19/month, Sprout Studio from $19/month, Sarvyam Starter $19₹999/month.
  • Watch for payment fees as well as the subscription — Bloom’s Starter adds 1.5% on digital payments; Sarvyam adds 0.5% on card payments through its Stripe links and nothing on Razorpay, UPI or payments you record.
  • Compare the plan you would actually need, not just the cheapest one.

HoneyBook alternatives: FAQ

What is the best HoneyBook alternative?

It depends on your business. Photographers who want galleries often look at Studio Ninja, Sprout Studio, VSCO Workspace or Bloom. Service businesses that live on forms and automated workflows often pick Dubsado. Event businesses that price physical work — balloons, decor, florals, rentals — need cost-based quoting, which is what Sarvyam is built around. There is no single best tool, so try two or three on their free trials with a real job.

Is there a free HoneyBook alternative?

Yes. Sarvyam has a Free plan with the costing engine, industry starter packs and 10 sent quotes a month; online approval, payments and the inquiry pipeline start on Starter ($19/month). 17hats lists a Free CRM with unlimited contacts and projects and four invoices a quarter. The other tools on this page offer free trials rather than free plans. HoneyBook itself lists a free trial, not a free plan.

Is there a HoneyBook alternative in the UK?

HoneyBook now lists the UK as a supported country, with subscriptions priced in pounds. If you want another option, Studio Ninja lists prices in GBP, and Sarvyam works in any country with 24 currencies and VAT included or added. Dubsado lists its prices in US dollars.

Which HoneyBook alternative works in India?

HoneyBook says it is available for business owners in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. Sarvyam works in India with prices in rupees, GST tax invoices (CGST/SGST or IGST), and payments through your own Razorpay account or a UPI scan-to-pay QR code — with no Sarvyam fee on those payments.

What is a cheaper alternative to HoneyBook?

HoneyBook lists plans from $29/month billed yearly. Several alternatives list lower entry prices — for example Studio Ninja from $16/month (with a 5-active-job limit), Plutio from $19/month and Sarvyam Starter at $19/month, plus Sarvyam’s Free plan. Entry plans differ in what they include, so compare the plan you would actually need. Prices were last checked in October 2026.

What is the best HoneyBook alternative for photographers?

Photographers usually want galleries, booking calls and contracts. Studio Ninja, Sprout Studio, VSCO Workspace and Bloom are built with photographers in mind. Sarvyam’s Studio plan adds proofing galleries with favorites and a full website with a shop, but it does not have a built-in scheduler for booking calls, so if consultations drive your sales, a photography-first tool may suit you better.

Can I move from HoneyBook to Sarvyam?

Yes, at your own pace. Start free, load your industry starter pack, rebuild your packages with real costs, and send your next new inquiry through Sarvyam while you finish current projects where they are. Sarvyam does not import HoneyBook files automatically.
